We're going to the finals baby!!

So I've decided that I'm gonna be posting video recaps of the episodes from now on just because it's slightly easier. And I feel like I can explain my thoughts a little bit better when I'm just saying them.

I was on the set of Supernatural on Monday watching them film a couple scenes..well actually just one scene from about 5 different angles.. :P They were filming episode 18.

The scene itself isn't very spoilery at all and the only thing that would be spoiled by the pictures is the fact that Jared and Jensen were there... But regardless:

Also, I feel as if I should 'clarify'. There has been a picture of a Mustang floating around with a certain familiar feature. If you've seen the picture you know what I mean. Please don't panic! This car isn't a replacement for another car!!! The Mustang is a part of the episode. It will make sense when the synopsis is released. Trust me!

Wow could I be any more cryptic and still try to get a point across...

I got sick of the using a username that I made in 6th grade. And naficeh will be easy enough to remember. It's the same as my twitter and tumblr.

I was on the set of Supernatural today while they were filming episode 14. They were filming in New Westminster at a house they've used before and, of course, the character who lives in that house was also there. Spoilers for which house under the cut and character under the cut. :)

The shots were all with Jensen although Jared was on set for a few minutes either picking something up or just because he was visiting. Jared did come over to say hi to us though which was very nice of him. He was super sweet.

Supernatural was filming in a very very very sketchy part of Vancouver today. They were at a little corner store across from Oppenheimer Park (also known as crack central...) Jensen was on set with a female character (SPOILER pictures of her being the cut. Here's a hint: we've seen her before..and it's not Lisa...) Jared apparently had the day off because he wasn't on set.

From what I gathered, earlier in the day they were doing shots of Dean and this female character were walking down the street along the side where the park is then repeating the shot along the opposite side of the street where the stores are. Later on they moved into the little corner store and were filming for a while in there.

After that they were going to move to a warehouse type building next to the corner store and film there. I didn't stay long enough to see that and I probably wouldn't have been able to see anything if I had.

Sunday was the last day of the Con. ='( The guest were Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Brock Kelly. John Marcynuk was also there speaking about the sets they use on Supernatural.

The second day of the Supernatural convention in Vancouver was super busy with 6 celebrity panels (7 including Russ Hamilton). The guests were Fredric Lehen, Samantha Smith, Matt Cohen (again), Clif Kosterman, Rob Benedict and Misha Collins.

Supernatural was filming on the corner of Carnarvon Street and 8th Street is New Westminster today (August 9th). They were in a building across from The Old Spaghetti Factory called Arundel Mansions. It’s an older looking building. Pale yellow with a black iron fire escape. I was told that it was episode 4 season 6 but I highly doubt that since the fourth episode was the one Jensen directed and it was filmed first. I’m thinking it might have been the fourth episode as in the fourth one they’ve filmed. Making it episode 3. They were mainly using the fourth story of the building. One of the windows on that floor was broken through. I wasn’t there to catch it but apparently earlier two stunt doubles had crashed through it. Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins were all there. They also had 2 Impalas on location as well as the Dodge Charger.

From what I gathered the scene that was being shot was about Castiel and a character in a black suit falling through the fourth story window and landing on the Dodge Charger. The camera was positioned in the window in the building looking out. It would pan down and film Castiel and black suit guy lying on a green-screen replica of the Charger. Sam and Dean would appear in the same window as the camera and look down onto Castiel, suit guy and the car while (I’m assuming) a camera filmed them looking out the window.

Jared and Jensen got there and were moved inside the building pretty quickly. Just enough time for a couple touch ups. I got a couple pictures of Jensen getting his makeup fixed, but Jared with hidden by a van. After Jared and Jensen finished their looking out the window scenes, they sat off the side by another smaller window. Jared was goofing off and throwing something (gummy candies?) at Misha who was still lying on the green-screen car. At one point Misha managed to kick one of little things away.

I took some pictures as well. Most of them are from pretty far away so you'll have to view the full size to see Jared and Jensen. I'm gonna post a couple full size under the cut and include a link to an album. EDIT: Ok the pictures are really really big. Really big.

I only went to the last day of the event. So I only have pictures for the Sunday. Jensen, Jared, Jim and Richard.

First of all, I did a report/transcript of the con yesterday if anybody else was interested in reading that.

Secondly, I didn't have amazing seats. I was sitting in T42, BUT I have an amazing camera. So the pictures turned out better than you may think. There are a couple heads in the way every now and then. I'll post a few under the cut. THESE PICTURE HAVE BEEN RESIZED!! They are originally (3888x2592) and that's the size of all the pictures I have in the zip files.

Just got back from the convention! Thought I'd get the report and the pictures up as quickly as possible.

Lets start with the report while the pictures upload...I might do the pictures in a different post if they take too long.

I'm just gonna skip ahead to the panels because, well, I didn't have a photo op so I couldn't let you what happened in them. Jensen came out to a every enthusiastic crowd to say the least. They had fallen over an hour behind doing photo ops..., but I'll get to that later.
Jensen started out by thanking everyone for coming and went on the apologize abut the lateness. He blamed Jared of course. Said something along the lines of, 'Anything being late is generally Jared's fault...and some people over here probably know about that...'. The crew of Supernatural was sitting to the left side of the stage (Jensen's left).
A lady in the crowd yelled 'JENSEN, YOU ROCK!' which Jensen hear as 'Take if off'. He said something about skipping all the foreplay.
Jensen talked a little about how the pilot was filmed in LA and the series was going to be filmed in LA, but how they lucked into an amazing crew in Vancouver.

This is when the questions started. I'm just gonna kind go point form with these. Transcribe it from what I remember. And yeah. I get really detailed so before you ask, me and a friend both put our head together for this. And I recorded small sections on my cell phone.

Ok so that was just Jensen and Jared and Jensen together. I'd also like to point out that we didn't get Jared alone. Damn Creation. And the panel was only an hour total as opposed to the hour and a half it should have been.

It's a map of the building they use at Riverview. The Crease Building is one of the abandoned buildings in the Riverview mental institute that Supernatural uses to film EVERYTHING. Hotel rooms, hospitals, offices..and in the case scenes from Yellow Fever!!

So as I promised in the picture post I made yesterday, here are the videos of Jared and Jensen at the RedBull Soapbox races.

There are two videos is one zip file. One that's about 5 minutes long (them sitting on the hay after their race) and another is only about 30 seconds long (Jensen outside of Hell's Kitchen restaurant). Both videos have a resolution of 720x480.

I haven't edited the videos so please ignore the talking in the background. (I also haven't watched them myself so if I say anything super embarrassing please ignore that too...)

I just got back from the RedBull Soapbox Race 2008 and I'm pretty sure I had the best day of my life.
I MET JENSEN ACKLES!
So here's what happened!  Along with a few pictures of me and my friend with Jensen, our signed shirts and the rest of the pictures in a zip file.


Jared won the race by a long shot and Jensen crashed into the hay after crossing the finish line. Good effort.
They were both wearing Vancouver Canucks jerseys (of the NHL) with Ackles and Padalecki on the backs. Jensen was #13 and Jared was #14.

They hung out for a bit by the media and waited for a cart to take them back up to the top of the hill. Jared seemed to be really hyper (probably because of all the free RedBull). He was jumping around a lot. While they were waiting, another race was going on. One of the cars in that race crashed (I think it lost a wheel) so Jared got really excited and got up for a better view. Jensen was just watching Jared and laughing. At one point, Jared was demonstrating how cramped he was in the tiny soapbox racer.

A cart came and took them to the top. By the time me and my friend made it up, they weren't there but we were lucky enough to run into them on the way back down.

They went into a restaurant called Hell's Kitchen where a private after party was going on. You had to have tags to get in. The restaurant had a patio so we waited outside for a little bit trying not to look super creepy. At one point Jared came out and it looked like he was looking for someone. I turns out he was waiting for Jensen.

Jensen went in but came back out into the patio where my friend and I went up to him and asked him to sign our shirts (the shirts have a picture of Sam and Dean on the front and they say 'Samwin Deanchester' on the back because we couldn't decide between them). We also got picture taken with him and he took one with my mom too after I mentioned that she's been a fan of his since Days of Our Lives.
I didn't really pay attention to who he was with (because when you're face to face with Jensen Ackles everything else just looses meaning) but for some reason they looked familiar and they all got a kick out of the shirts so I'm guessing they might have something to do with the show. Crew and such maybe?

And finally, we said bye and as we were turning to walk away he was like, "Awweesome."

I do have videos of them from basically the time they got out of the race cars to when they got on the cart to leave. I haven't watched it yet so I'm not sure if you can make out what they're saying but Jared was being pretty darn loud so you might. I have to get around to uploading those once I figure out how to resize them to fit onto youtube.
